Barbosa moves into the lead in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY - Riding Priceless for 87.5 points in the Built Ford Tough Championship Round, Rubens Barbosa moved into first place at the Professional Bull Riders WinStar World Casino Invitational presented by Express Employment Professionals and brought to you locally by Blue Emu.
Barbosa finished first in the championship round, and has 172.25 points. He has a ¾-point lead on Oklahoma native Ryan Dirteater and Harve Stewart, who are tied for second with 171.5 points. Dirteater was the leader heading into the championship round after riding Say When for 85.5 points in Round 2, but he bucked off in the championship round, following a re-ride. Stewart rode two bulls on Saturday, scoring 86 points in Round 2 on Cooper Tires How We Roll, and 85.5 points in the championship round on Grey Ghost.
Valdiron de Oliveira is in fourth place with 170.75 points, while 2010 PBR World Champion Renato Nunes is in fifth place with 165.25 points. Oliveira rode Mac-Nett's Southern Wine for 86 points, tying Stewart for second place in the championship round.
Round 3 and the Built Ford Tough Championship Round at Chesapeake Arena begin at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12. Tickets are available at the Chesapeake Energy Arena box office, www.Ticketmaster.com, and by telephone at (405) 602-8700 and (800) 745-3000.
Each of the Top 35 riders in the world will ride on Sunday. Following Round 4 on Sunday, the riders with the 10 highest cumulative scores will advance to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round where they will each compete with one more bull. The overall event winner will be the rider with the highest combined score from all five rounds.
CBS Sports Network will air the action this Sunday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. ET. There will be encore airings Sunday, Feb. 12, at 10 p.m. ET, and on Monday, Feb. 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
Oklahoma City is the sixth of 28 stops on the 2012 BFTS schedule, which opened on Jan. 6-8 with capacity crowds at Madison Square Garden in New York. The BFTS will make 28 stops in 23 states before the Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas on Oct. 24-28. The World Finals are where the PBR World Champion will be crowned and awarded the coveted championship buckle and a $1 million bonus. The richest bull riding event in the world, the World Finals has a total purse of more than $2 million.

BFTS telecasts are produced for the PBR under a multi-year agreement with David Neal Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company led by 34-time Emmy® Award winner and Peabody Award winner David Neal, who serves as executive producer.
