Chad Ochocinco embarks on another bucking bull adventure with PBR and ABBI

PUEBLO, Colo. - Chad Ochocinco is no stranger to the PBR or bucking bulls. Ochocinco rode PBR superstar bull Deja Blue last year on live television after a short, intensive training session with "King of the Cowboys" Ty Murray. Ochocinco didn't make it to the whistle, but the experience left him with a newfound appreciation for the sport of bull riding and its brave athletes.
Now the New England Patriots wide receiver is embarking on another adventure - owning a bucking bull though the PBR and ABBI's Back Seat Buckers program.
Unlike his previous bucking bull experience, this time around Ochocinco will not be risking life or limb. This year at PBR events, Ochocinco will be able to enjoy the action from behind the chutes as he roots on his bull and competes for a share of half a million dollars in prize money. ABBI will feed, house, haul and train Ochocinco's bull, along with the other 99 in the program.
Chad Ochocinco gave bull riding a shot last season in Duluth, Ga.
"Ochocinco is such a gifted athlete and he really understands our sport," stated ABBI Executive Director Kaycee Simpson. "We're excited to see him play on Sunday and then we'll be looking forward to seeing if he uses his firsthand understanding of bucking bulls when selecting his Back Seat Bucker on March 3 at Cowboys Stadium."
Celebrity owners already involved in the inaugural season of Back Seat Buckers include John Elway, Wayne Gretzky and Bear Pascoe. Ochocinco will face off against Pascoe this weekend as the Patriots battle the Giants in Indianapolis.
Back Seat Buckers is a program of 100 elite Futurity bulls that will compete against each other this season for a total of half a million dollars in prize money. The Finals event winner will earn his owner $250,000. There are still some spots available to purchase a bull. For more information visit americanbuckingbull.com or backseatbuckers.com.
