Stockyards Championship Rodeo, located in the Stockyards National Historic District, has hit the mark on Facebook, and acquired it's 7,000th fan last week.
Social media and the sport of rodeo have become deeply engrained as a working force for rodeo fans and contestants. It is a worldwide sport, and therefore, Stockyards Championship Rodeo's fans span thru 20 countries, and the Fan Page's information, news and contests are delivered to those fans in 22 different languages.
Reach to these many different worldwide markets means more exposure for current corporate sponsors that partner with the world's only year round rodeo and also potential partners. Branding thru social media, in conjunction with Stockyards Championship Rodeo has proven very successful.
